Beelzebub OP3 and ED3: wow it’s still going on lol

With the 3rd Opening and Ending songs, the anime is officially entering its 3rd season much to my surprise. Considering how bad half of the 23 past episodes were, I was thinking that Studio Pierrot just dropped the balls with the series and wanted to end the show. It turned out that they are currently under the false impression that they’re doing greatly. The success to Beelzebub is pretty much credited to the greatness of the manga and not the anime. Maybe I’m being too harsh on the anime. Who knows? I’ve skipped the fillers and I’m started to feel disconnected to the anime. I’m also annoyed at how no one gets a single smooth action motion and at the 70-80’s style of putting a board – saying “Punch”, “Kick”, etc…- everytime Oga attacks. Well, it’s the St-Ishiyama arc which will allow guys like Furuichi and Kanzaki to rightfully shine and not be buried…assuming that Studio Pierrot’s staff isn’t on drug.

BTW, when you think that Beelzebub finally start getting a decent opening, a bad rock song appears. The ending songs are pretty good, even though I don’t like how the videos deform or reform the female characters’ look.

[Final Impression] Moshidora

(This article is personally written by me as the guess writer here without prejudice and does not represent the view of this blog as a whole. Viewer discretion is advised)

Finally after about 2 weeks airing this anime finally came to an end. It was quite fast, if I’m not mistaken, 4 episodes per week (well there’s a reason for that but I forgot what it is). The ending is kinda bittersweet, making it the 3rd anime this year with that kind of ending.

I’d like to reminisce the whole story again. Minami Kawashima, being the current manager for Hodokubo High baseball team, was actually a stand-in for the bedridden Yuki Miyata who was the actual manager for the team. Those two were good friends and has been together ever since they were babies (I wonder how is that possible?). Too bad in the end Yuki didn’t managed to see the team won the final and go to the nationals, despite it was her dream to bring the team to achieve that. Honestly for me that was an unexpected development that I wasn’t ready to face. It’s because halfway through the series it appeared to be a heartwarming one. Things however started to show the sign of upcoming tragedy since episode 6, where there was still no indication that Yuki’s health is improving. The demise of Yuki was a big shock to Minami at first and she gave up her management job, until she realized that she should not stop halfway of what is actually started by Yuki. But that is not after she was slapped by Jiro though >_<

There’s a little presence of Yuri in this show though and luckily it wasn’t given too much attention or else it would have been too distracting and this anime might lost its educational value then. Somehow I think this anime needs some real romance instead of that yuri, and I think Minami should have been paired with Jiro considering that how close the two are as childhood friends 🙂

The OP & ED of this anime  also sounded “happy” and does not help in giving initial impression that it will have a tragic moment. If we were to rely on the OP& ED alone I bet nobody would have thought that this anime has quite a tragic plot. Speaking of OP & ED, I like both of them, and they’re listed in my favorites already.

I have neither grudge nor hatred against sports anime. With the right settings, as long as there are good character design and good story then I’m all set. The last time I liked baseball in anime was the baseball episode in Ika Musume though (refer to the 10th episode of that anime). Earlier than that would be another baseball anime, Ookiku Furikabute though I don’t like the little presence of yaoi there (lucky their coach is “well-endowed” *cough*). Anyways it’s because of this anime that I learned more about Peter Drucker‘s “Management”. I think aspiring businessmen should watch this anime too. I’d recommend this to businessmen as it could be a good reference for them, and I know why this anime is good for that because I’m also a businessman.

Magia – Kalafina MV (Magic Puella Madoka Magica ending song)

The only 2 reasons why I haven’t totally dropped Madoka Magica are the Morning Rescue commercials and Kalafina’s beautiful songs. Yes, notice the new blog’s banner.

Here is the full song of Magia

Oreimo PSP “Ayase” Bad Ending

Hehe, it’s School Days all over again. lol I’d just put a facepalm if that’d ever happen in the anime.

New Bleach ED song

As Bleach is finally entering its season finale, we get a new and great ED song. “Song For…” by Rookiez is Punk’d

Gundam 00: A wakening of the trailblazer Review (contains spoilers)

I’ve just finished watching the movie. Considering I’ve read that the movie was full of WTF and Facepalm moments (like Mina being a recycled character of Nina), you can’t say that my expectations were broken. Nonetheless, if you’re looking a good action anime movie, then, yeah, A Wakening of the Trailblazer is pretty good. However, if you’re looking for a movie with a good storyline, forget about it. Truthfully, Gundam 00 didn’t need a movie to bring closure to the series considering season 2 already had a satisfying one.

Summary (spoiler):
The world is going to a peaceful direction. People are starting to become innovators. Aliens from Jupiter appears. Celestial Being and The Earth Federation tries to fight them off. The aliens are too strong, thus Setsuna must use his superior Innovator abilities to stop the alien.

“Poor Feltd” That’s my general feeling throughout the entire movie. She’s in love with Setsuna and gets nothing in return. Though, I guess Feltd’s flowers were actually significant for him, but that remains it. In the story, 50 years later, Setsuna’s first woman contact is a freaking hug to Marina.

If you thought Gundam 00 Season 2 was really over the top with 00-raiser’s specs, the movie surpasses that. Every darn mobile suits went surpassing Kira’s Strike Freedom Gundam. Truly Beam-light a beam like spectacle. Is it that supposed to be a bad thing or a good thing? Hmmm both, I guess. The action was great but it was over-killed at the same time.

Gundam 00: A wakening of The Trailblazer was an okay movie to say the least. Good action movie but with full of “oh screw this” moments. The “wtf” moments really came in a lot in the ending, which kinda was unsatisfying.

The World God Only Knows ep 12: Last Episode

The last episode of The World God Only Knows was way beyond funny, disturbing or weird. The God of Conquest, Katsuragi, really outdid himself.

We got into the point where greed took over Katsuragi’s mind. There’s not enough game challenging for him.

The face of someone in need for new games

Seriously, how much consoles does a game addict need to fulfill his desires? I’ve seen thousands of dollars worth of game systems. I wonder what kind of job Katsuragi’s mom has.

I wish I had the budget for this much consoles lol

For those who can’t read the consoles name:
-Pride 64
-Cream Cast
-Saga Saturn
-Game Dice

If playing normally is no longer challenging, I guess the most logical thing to do is to play 6 games at the same time. HAHAHA

The consoles name crack me up

It’s the octopus man!!!!!! I laughed my ass off while he was in the God of Conquest mode. It was funny when Elsie was distancing herself from him and his room several time because of the actual weirdness from Katsuragi’s gamer spirit.

God of Conquest Mode ACTIVATE!!!!

Ok He’s not even looking at the screen. That was way beyond godly skills. It’s probably the most disturbing moment of the episode after the delusion moment.

Even this episode was a filler, it was by far the most entertaining one of the series. It did well to hype the 2nd season scheduled in April 2011.
